The Association for Home and Hospice Care of NC is excited to bring you a webinar on the ICD-10-CM code Updates effective October 1, 2019.
Coding is a core element of Home Health, yet it is very complex under ICD-10.
The FY2020 ICD-CM final code set includes 273 new, 30 revised and 21 deleted codes as well as 98 Tabular Instruction changes.
This session will review the October 2019 coding updates. Changes and challenging coding areas will be reviewed. In addition, key parts of coding under PDGM will be reviewed- as beginning Jan 2020 the PDGM Clinical Groupings will be a key factor in coding and will have enormous impact to your agency.

Presenter: Sharon Litwin, RN, BSHS, MHA, HCS-D, is Founder and Senior Managing Partner at 5 Star Consultants, a national consulting and coding firm specializing in home care and hospice services since 2003.
