ICD-10 Coding Update and Challenge for Home Health & Hospice

It's Time to Do Some Spring Cleaning!

2018 has been a challenging winter for most of the country. North Carolina has seen record breaking temperatures and above average snow fall, but Spring is coming.  Spring is that wonderful time of the year when temperatures are getting milder, flowers and plants are beginning to blossom and thoughts of winter go away.   What better time to join together to focus on the latest changes in ICD-10-CM coding over the last year and challenge ourselves to expand and demonstrate our growing coding expertise with sample scenarios covering a wide variety of home health topics?

Coders often work alone or within very small groups, with only minimal opportunities for group discussion and to validate their coding skills.  This one day class will enable you to have an opportunity to meet with your home health and hospice coding peers, practice your coding skills in a quiet setting without all the interruptions you encounter in your daily work and be sure you are up to date with the myriad of coding changes and clarifications continually being released by the Coding Clinic.

Feel free to email your suggestions for troublesome topics, coding challenges or preferred topics to [email protected] to be included in the workshop agenda.
