The Aide's Role in Alzheimer's and Dementia

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a type of dementia that affects thought, memory and language.  As the disease gets worse, people often need more and more care. This can be hard for caregivers and can affect their physical and mental health, family life, job and finances. In home aides play a vital role in helping to care for these patients and provide important respite to family caregivers. This webinar will assist the in-home aide in being able to describe the role they play in helping to manage patients with AD.
