KEPRO: Medicare's BFCC-QIO

Join us for a webinar by KEPRO, the Quality Improvement Organization designated by Medicare to improve quality of care and health outcomes for beneficiaries.

The Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) Program is part of Medicare’s efforts to improve the quality of care. KEPRO has been the Beneficiary and Family Centered Care Quality Improvement Organization (BFCC-QIO) in 33 states and the District of Columbia for the past five years and was recently awarded a new five-year contract by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) covering different states. As the BFCC-QIO, they offer information to Medicare providers as well as people who have Medicare and their families. KEPRO will assist Medicare beneficiaries with quality of care complaints, discharge and service termination appeals, and Immediate Advocacy.

Effective June 8, 2019: KEPRO is the BFCC-QIO in those states that are shaded in the map below.
