AHHC is so excited to offer the 2022-2023 Hospice Survey Preparedness Education Series. This is a wonderful opportunity for your agency staff to attend and increase knowledge on top survey deficiencies. Each session will include a time for review of a top hospice deficiency area, followed by case scenarios and best practice examples. This series will begin in November 2022 and continue through October, 2023. Each session will be recorded, and the recording will be available for 6 months after each session ends. NOTE: Each accreditor will cover the content as based on the federal Medicare Conditions of Participation, not on specific individual accreditation standards.
Contact Hours: Each Individual Session is eligible for 1.0 Nurse Contact Hour. The complete Hospice Survey Preparedness Series is eligible for 9.0 Nurse Contact Hours. The Association for Home &
Hospice Care of NC is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional
development by the North Carolina Nurses Association, an accredited approver by
the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Registrationn Fee: AHHC wants to make this series affordable for staff in your organization to attend and to receive nursing professional development continuing education credit if applicable. We are offering both a Series Registration Rate and a Individual Session Registration Rate.
Series Registration Rate:If you purchase the series, your organization will have access to the live webinar and the recording for 6 months after each session ends. Your staff can attend in a group setting (with required sign-in sheet) or remote through their individual devices. Any staff member that can verify attendance through the sign in sheet process or through their individual device attendee report in Zoom and completes each course evaluation will be eligible for nurse contact hours.
Individual Session Rate: The registration fee covers one session for one individual and one continuing education (CE) certificate (if applicable). If you are interested in multiple sites participating from within your agency, please see the Series Registration Rate Option.
Cancellation and Substitution Policy for Series Registrations: There will be no refunds or invoice adjustments for Series Registrations.
Cancellation and Substitution Policy for Individual Registrations: Fees will be refunded, or invoices will be adjusted, only if written notice of cancellation is
received by AHHC one week prior to the event. In the event of cancellation, AHHC will retain, or charge, 50% of the
initial registration fee, per registrant, to cover administrative overhead. Once written cancellation is received, an AHHC staff
member will review for approval. If your cancellation is approved, we will email back a signed and dated copy of the cancellation
that your agency should retain on file in case of questions. Substitutions may be made up to the day of the event.
