Home Care Summit

The theme for this year’s program is about having a Ready & Retained workforce. Emphasis will be placed on staff competency from DHSR, the NCBON and from a provider agency experience. Sessions on staff hiring, and staff engagement during times of change will also be useful in addressing a ready and retained workforce.


WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This program is designed for Administrators, Directors, Supervisors and HR personnel of licensed home care agencies that are interested in staff competency and practices to prevent negligent hiring. Members and non-members of the Association are welcome to attend.

  • Hiring selection and employer law issues (to help prevent negligent hiring)
  • NC Board of Nursing overview of competency requirements for nurses and delegation to staff, along with a provider best practices in competency requirements
  • Dealing with Constant Change in the Workforce
