JOB TITLE:  VICE PRESIDENT Home Health Regulatory & Clinical Affairs

The Association for Home & Hospice Care of NC (AHHC) is hiring for a full-time VP of Home Health Regulatory & Clinical Affairs. This position serves as key staff liaison to AHHC & SCHCHA members who provide Medicare-certified home health services. The VP identifies industry issues that impact these members and analyzes, interprets and communicates information related to practice, federal and state regulations, policy and operations.

The VP provides a high level of consultation to members related to: administrative and clinical operations; third party reimbursements; documentation and coverage requirements; compliance and quality issues; policy development, difficult patient strategies; and a wide variety of regulatory requirements.

The VP writes and edits articles for AHHC and industry publications; serves as faculty for workshops and educational programs provided by AHHC; represents AHHC and SCHCHA in meetings with policy makers and administrators of local, state, and federal regulations; and is lead staff liaison to designated AHHC committees

A BSN degree is required for this position. MPH/MSN or equivalent preferred. Minimum of five years of recent administrative home health experience required. Candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of Medicare home health coverage and certification requirements.  In addition, candidate must have current knowledge of, and be comfortable with consulting in: VBP, PDGM, RCD, COPs, and F2F. 

This position will preferably work at the AHHC office located in Raleigh, NC.  State and national travel required may be required throughout the year.
