Throughout the day, a unified coalition of advocates will come together to urge the North Carolina General Assembly (NCGA) to prioritize access to critical home care services, including Medicaid aide services, Medicaid private duty nursing, hospice, and palliative care. It's essential that we continue to raise our voices to ensure the state continues to invest in these services that keep vulnerable North Carolinians safely cared for at home.
This year’s event will begin at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences and will be co-hosted by the Association of Home Care & Hospice of North Carolina (AHHC) and BAYADA Hearts for Home Care (H4HC). There will also be a reception the evening before, May 13th, featuring special guests from the executive branch.
