Association Membership

It is important for agencies to become members of their state Association to receive regulatory and legislative updates, as well as education to advance your business, member discounts from trusted vendors, and advocacy at the state and federal levels. AHHC has 49 years of experience in leading and advocating for home care and our experienced staff have more than 200 years of combined expertise. We encourage you to consider joining our Association once your agency has become licensed.

Melody Beaty, BSN, RN, CENMelody Beaty, BSN, RN, CEN is a nurse and healthcare leader with over 20 years of experience advancing clinical excellence, operational strategy, and system-wide growth across home health, home care, and acute care settings. She brings deep expertise in building collaborative networks that improve access to high-quality home and community-based services (HCBS), particularly for medically complex and underserved populations.

Melody obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Winston-Salem State University and her ADN from Gaston Community College and holds a certification as a Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN). She began her career in emergency medicine, where she developed a strong clinical foundation in high-acuity care, interdisciplinary coordination, and rapid clinical decision-making. Later transitioning to home and community-based care with Health & Home Services, Inc., a nurse-owned and nurse-managed organization, she developed a passion for strengthening community-based care models and improving outcomes for vulnerable populations, while also serving as an Executive Board Member of AHHC.

Most recently, Melody served as a nationwide Site Surveyor for Community Health Accreditation Partner (CHAP), where she conducted comprehensive surveys of home health organizations across the country. In this role, she evaluated regulatory compliance, strengthened organizational readiness for accreditation, and provided strategic guidance to executive and clinical leaders on quality improvement, risk mitigation, and operational alignment with federal and state requirements.

Previously, Melody served as Area Vice President of Clinical Operations for North Carolina and Tennessee at MGA Homecare, where she led multi-state expansion efforts that significantly increased access to home-based services. She successfully directed six de novo launches, expanded service lines through Certificate of Need (CON) approval in Tennessee, and built scalable workforce strategies that improved recruitment, retention, and care delivery capacity. Her leadership and advocacy efforts increased access to care for vulnerable populations by improving access to healthcare services for underserved communities.

Earlier in her career, Melody served as Vice President of Operations and Clinical Services Director at Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care, where she oversaw multi-state operations, drove market expansion, and led large-scale operational and clinical transformation initiatives. Her leadership consistently improved patient satisfaction, employee engagement, and access to pediatric home-based services across multiple states.In addition to her executive and clinical leadership roles, Melody is the founder of Be at Your Best Healthcare Consulting, where she partnered with healthcare organizations nationwide to strengthen operational performance, regulatory compliance, and readiness for growth. Her expertise includes Medicaid and Medicare program compliance and regulation, accreditation readiness, workforce development, startup and expansion strategy.

Melody’s career has been defined by a commitment to building strong partnerships across providers, payers, regulators, and community organizations to expand access to home and community-based services. She is recognized for her ability to align clinical operations with system-level strategy, foster collaboration across complex healthcare networks, and support organizations in delivering high-quality, person-centered care.She remains actively engaged in advancing the home and community-based care landscape through collaboration, advocacy, and strategic partnership development across the healthcare continuum to serve members of the Association.

  • Covers 2 agency representatives (must be from the same agency)
